"The house is large but cozy. The view over the lake is amazing. Half our tribe went snowboarding at Palisades and the rest of us stayed in and watched the snow accumulate, and boy did it. Very good communication with owner. We had a great time. Because there were 10 of us, a few more comfy chairs or beanbags in the living room would be nice. Snowplow for driveway was much appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay!"

"We had a great time at this house and found the location and setting to be great. It was a relatively short drive to get down to Yosemite Valley. The house itself is actually nicer than the pictures make it seem! The listing would be greatly improved by some better pictures. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. We enjoyed our time despite a couple of issues with the house:- The oven was having issues and was inoperable when we first arrived, which completely threw our dinner plans...

"Gary’s property was perfect for our family of 3 humans and 2 little dogs. Seemed very safe around, just be on the lookout for bears (like anywhere in Lake Tahoe) though we didn’t encounter any! The chalet itself was super cozy, comfortable and Gary was very communicative if we needed anything. Definitely recommend for a nice, cozy, clean, comfortable stay. My 6 year old daughter especially loved it!"

"The location was absolutely perfect, being so close to Heavenly, Nevada, and downtown South Lake Tahoe. It made our trip incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The house itself had plenty of space for our family of 7, along with some friends of our kids who joined us. We particularly loved the pool table and hot tub, which kept everyone entertained and happy. It felt like the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, I must mention that the beds were quite uncomfortable....
