"Great location, good sized rooms. Menu could have had a few more choices, was a bit limited. Car park was difficult to find the way in. Easy walk into the city centre, which is beautiful. "

"Hotel staff excellent and can’t do enough for you. Only negative. The rooms are tired had a loose floorboard in our room which pinched your foot mirror cracked. I would say the room needs a refurbishment. One frustrating thing was they didn’t tell us to keep our room key so when we went to go to get our car laid in with bags, we couldn’t use the lift had to walk down four flights of stairs. There was also items missing from the room and regarding the side of the room there should be a fridge."

"Excellent location close to Chester, only a 10 mi ute drive and about £8 to £10 in a taxi. Public areas very clean, as was the room. Very good size bedrooms and effective heating, a bonus when it is cold! Good leisure facilities too"

"Everything during our stay was absolutely perfect. Room requests were met exactly, our dining option was amended to suit a last minute change of of plans, as was our spa booking. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel, bar, restaurants and spa are exceptionally well kept and we'd love to stay again"
