All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The location is excellent for getting around and seeing all the sights with Gloucester Road tube station across the road. "Everything was quite fine for what would amount to my 10th half-week stay at this hotel. That is, with one exception: the housekeeping crew were a bit too eager in their cleaning of my room after my night. They removed all the food I had stored in the minifridge, and removed all my personal items left in the bath, incl. new toothbrush and toothpaste. They must have thought I had already checked out! I was able to obtain temporary toiletries from the Reception Desk, but still needed to shop for...

"The hotel reception was large and inviting. The staff were very welcoming and service with a smile. The room was very clean, just a little dated in parts. Would have liked a walk in shower. However was informed all rooms have baths. If you like a deep bath then this hotel would be ideal for you. We would stay here again if staying in the area for a short stay"

"I actually liked the hotel which reminded me of old guest houses in Egypt. The property itself is old and could benefit from some refurbishment (e.g. the window frame in the bathroom had some brown muck in the corners and could probably be reseated and the lining curtains lost their white colour!) But the establishment is run like a traditional hotel centring guest needs. The staff was also very polite, obliging and pleasant. I had a couple of requests that they met immediately and a third one...
