"I've visited NYC several times, and this is the best hotel I've stayed at. It was clean, the room was spacious for NYC standards, and the staff were always pleasant and courteous. The area is not luxurious, but it's walkable and I felt safe walking there at night"

"Stay was fine but check in was questionable. Upon booking, I requested a fridge because a fridge was available upon request. When I checked in, the guy at the front desk wanted to charge me $30/day for the fridge and he also mentioned there is a charge for the coffee maker! I never heard the like before but then, after I questioned it, he told me no charge, like he was doing me a favour! I just finished checking in and went on up to my room.
