"I would like to debunk a couple of the previous reviews for this place. First and foremost, IT WAS CLEAN and there were no bed bugs! This of course, was a concern of mine before heading out so I contacted the host. He was quick and detailed with his response and assurances. The apartment was clean upon our arrival so if there was an issue in the past it has been addressed and resolved. Secondly to address the noise complaints. It's New York, in Hells Kitchen, you can't expect it to be...

"Canceled our room two days before our trip, with no explanation (we booked two months in advance). Said they would provide us a different hotel, then did not reserve anything, and we had to call expedia 4 times over the course of a day and arrived at the hotel with no room booked for us. Then, we ended up having to pay almost double out of our own pocket to stay in the hotel A truly horrible experience."
