"Since we paid for this hotel the same that we paid for a nice new hotel in Central Tokyo, I was expecting at least the basic service. The staff didn't speak any English with the exception of a lady who was called on the phone to give us basic information, but she said she was taking the day off. Thing is, she seemed to also take off the day after, and the one after as well. We had to prepare our own beds,with zero guidance on how to set up a Japanese futon. "This is our second stay here at this hotel. We loved it so much last year that we had to return this year. The staff is excellent, the food at the buffet was delicious, our room was comfortable and even more so with the outdoor hot tub made it lovely. I had several shiatsu massages at the hotel wellness area with wonderful massage persons. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"The entrance into the building is nice and inviting. We checked in and were given two keys to the room, which are actual keys and not a card. Once we got to "our room" it was quickly discovered that there was an error in check in. Other people's belongings were still in the room and it was not the type of room we booked. Thankfully the people were not in the room and we called the front desk to let them know of the issue. They immediately came up and verified that they made a mistake and...

"Wonderful beautiful place! It was cloudy, so I did not get a Mountain View, but the onsen experience was wonderful and much needed! The hike up the hotel was not great, but that’s the only con. Overall, we had a great time and experience."
