"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"

"A quiet, out of the way property with a lot of privacy and friendly people around. Lots of options for onsen or foot baths, but i enjoyed the quiet and more exclusive onsen on site. Its a better place to stay if you travel by car or enjoy walking. It's a safe area and if rest and retreating is what you need, this is the place to be."

"Loved the hotel! Be aware public Japanese baths mean sharing the hot springs experience with no clothing. It is separated by gender. We picked the private baths. When we wanted 3 different baths per member of the family, they suggested we only book 1 private bath and we could wear our bathing suits. It was great. There is a room with different types of massage chairs- one for whole body, another for feet, and another for feet and legs. We picked the half board meals. The first night was...

"We had the most incredible stay here while visiting Hakone. The location is ideal: a 2 min walk from the main train station and right on the river. Waking up to the sound/view of the river is just magical. The team working here is incredibly nice, hospitable and accommodating. We did the half board and the food was delicious and varied. "The hotel is old and in disrepair but everything works. The food is just adequate but the open bar with beer, sake, wine, shochu helps. The onsen was fine with one large rotemburo outside and three large baths of varying temperatures inside. The service was great though, the staff always greeted you with smiles and were very helpful. It’s a 23 minute walk uphill from the train station or an 800 yen ride by taxi. "
