"Amazing place. The private onsen room is awesome. We were very surprised with the size of the room(s). It was actually far too large for just 2 person. The sofa alone could easily sleep 3 persons. The shower room was quite big and the rain shower was just so great. The only thing i did not like too much was the toilet that was quite small."

"My family and I stayed here two nights just before Christmas. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner offers a shuttle bus during the morning hours to Gora Station, which is very helpful for getting to Hakone ropeway. Local restaurants were a bit unaccessible as it was off-season but this inn has its own great little restaurant kitchen. We had two dinners here and tried almost everything on the menu. "This was a smaller ryokan so the onsen required appointments which is nice since you get the whole onsen for your own group or yourself. You might have to get weird hours though. The rooms were Japanese style and spacious but the bathroom was small. Also the bathroom didn't smell very good. There was also a kotatsu which was very cool to see. "
