"Loved the onsen and fitness room area, large spacious room and comfy traditional outfits to wear around. As mentioned in other reviews, don’t expect to eat without a reservation made days in advance— however there are a few options at Yannusen next door ( 5 min walk). Laundry wouldn’t dry in the dryer at all after 2 hrs, best to hang it up! Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"普段2階はあまり使わないのか雨の翌日だったからか少しカビ臭かった。窓開けたらすぐ無くなりました。設備も広い風呂場も料理も言う事ないけど引き出しに入ってた部屋着を出したらホコリだらけだったのが残念。フロントに持って行ったけど帰り際にそこの一言が欲しかったなーと思った。 我が家はご飯大好きでしかも大食いなのでコースだけでは足りず、パンをおかわりしまくってたらシェフよりオイナリサンをプレゼントしていただき助かりました。 部屋から花火も見れて海の音、風、香りを感じられる素晴らしいホテルでした。また行きたいです。"

"We Americans stayed here for 2 nights. Highly recommended. Great cultural experience for those looking for an authentic ryokan in an older style building with communal bathing facilities. Japanese breakfast was really fun but I had little idea what I was eating. Go with an open mind! I was glad there were a couple of very helpful staff who spoke some English. Otherwise, it looked like all local Japanese guests there!"
