"Not the cleanest place I’d ever stayed in and it’s definitely dated but you get what you pay for. The rooms are huge western size, more than enough room for two people and to spread luggage everywhere too. The gentlemen on reception was very polite and helpful, had a translation device to hand for a few of my more complex requests. "

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings. "Shared bathroom and shower, but there are only 3 rooms. It was nice, quiet and clean. We didnt really spend time there just to sleep. AND it was about a 5 -10min walk to the beach."
