"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"The in-room mineral bath was so rejuvenating. The shuttle service to near-by train stations was convenient. The meals were “out of this world” scrumptious and unique to Japan salmon, tuna, barracuda, etc). The staff were kind and gracious (and busy). This place is a gem! If I ever find my way back to this area, I will definitely return!"

"The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings. "Great location in Hase area of Kamakura. Easy walking distance to beach and temples. Good public transit near by. Clean and quiet location. Didn’t realize I’d have to share a toilet with several other rooms. My room had a shower, but my family had to use another on the first floor. It was locked when they wanted to use it and no staff around to assist. They ended up using mine, which was fine as we’re family, but it would have been easier if the room key worked for the showers too. "

"I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. The things I enjoyed the most was the comfortable mattresses and the ability to drop my luggage off in the morning. "

"The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rustic atmosphere. The amenities were good, and the staff was very friendly and spoke great English. "Good: - Very clean, exceptional views of harbor with the curved windows. The other room with bay views and balcony was also quite nice! - right near Minatomirai metro station - super clean and upscale - concierge staff was helpful in making dinner reservations since we didn’t have a tel number It’s about a 15m walk to Sakuragicho station but there are 2 Pokémon manhole covers you can spot along the way which is fun! The bed was comfy and large (king), the tub was huge, and they are eco friendly!"

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. My wife is a vegetarian so not quite as good a choice as it was for me.but still good. Hotel views are amazing. Close to Sakuragicho station and Minatomirai station. Yokohama is so underrated. As far as I'm concerned keep it that way. It's part of its charm. Would love to go back. Would definitely stay at this hotel again."
