"Stayed there because of the proximity to the airport. Ended up staying my last night there too. Amazing home cooked food! Beautiful location and pool. On the main road, but walled in so the traffic doesn't bother you. Room was well set up and clean. Mariano is an amazing host, just be prepared with some Spanish! "My third stay and another excellent one! After a long day's activities it is nice to return to a comfortable room in a quiet hotel. This time I stayed in a room with a stovetop. A huge plus as I cooked my own meals inside my room! Hotel location is very close to great restaurants and grocery stores and walking to town plaza takes about 15 minutes. The hotel management and staff never disappoint. I always consider Caribo Cozumel before looking at other accommodations on the island."

"This place was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to do back! We stayed in Suite 6- a large room with a huge balcony right on the water. We had nonstop Caribbean br The kitchenette was very helpful to have and the bathroom was well appointed. Even the bed and pillows were great. The staff were what really shined. Takes about 10 minutes to Mega and 8 minutes to the Aqua Safari pier in front of Casa Mexicana. The property has a set of stairs leading to the front door of the living areas, always locked. "The room was clean and most things were fine (hot water not consistent and wrong wifi password given in the room though) and Ana was nice, but overall our check-in was difficult. The neighborhood seemed unsafe to arrive to at night and no one was there to let us in when we arrived (we only got in thanks to another traveler). Apparently Ana was supposed to come meet us at the time of our arrival, but we were never asked beforehand for that information and didn't know there would be no reception....

"Does not allow eating in room but kitchen space was not clean/unusable, out of the way and inconvenient (almost dangerous stair access) to get to from room especially in the rain. No filtered water available. Shower pressure needed to be turned up; it was basically a heavy drip. Our room was #4 outside of main entrance and reception area, so we heard everyone coming and going all hours of the day and night. "

"The place is a little sketchy but worked for a one night stay pinch. I like a firm bed…… this bed was like concrete! Don’t try to use the bathroom for real because you can’t flush the paper. Although if you’re looking for a super cheap getaway, I’d still look elsewhere UNLESS they change their beds. You can always walk to the mall to use those bathrooms so you can actually flush. "Excellent hotel and location. Right by a local bus stop. Nice pool with a beach also accessible at the property. Every car coming into the property is stopped before entering. I also had a small outdoor area to sit down right outside my room. Staff was helpful as checking in and out was smooth as can be...Should I go back to Cancun in the near future, I know where I'll be staying!"

"Overall, this place was good! For a cheaper resort, you can’t complain - you’re getting what you pay for. The beach was great- beautiful sand and seaweed cleaned daily. We were able to get cabanas or chairs if we went in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon too. The water park is a blast for the kids, although it is dated it is still very fun. My biggest tip is to bring water shoes because the non slip type cement is hard on the feet. The pools were great too! The food was good. Not...

"Beautiful resort. The beach is clear from rocks. The serving staff are so sweet. The rooms are nice. Alejandro, Alexis and Perla were our favs! They were so friendly and accommodating in every way. Really made our trip memorable. The resort has theme nights but they had a silent disco which was so boring. So many ppl out and just sitting around with no music for those who were not a part of the disco. Other than that, it was great. The cave dinner was a highlight for us but the resort is not all-inclusive. You have to pay for that and other things such as bowling, trampoline, laser tag etc… the crocodile is free tho hehe kids love that! "
