"Took the family for week and we all really enjoyed! I would highly recommend the Maya palace to any family. Beautiful pool, very quiet at night and very clean. The beach is beautiful and the staff is great. If I were to recommend anything to anyone, it would be to make sure you book your reservations for dinner as early as possible. "Food was very good to excellent for a resort. Drinks were good but not great. The excellence club was very expensive for what you get. The Magna restaurant has an amazing tomahawk steak which is almost worth the price of entry, but the rest of the food was not at the same level (particularly, the breakfast was only so-so… the eggs Benedict where not great). The French and lobster house restaurants were very good. Our upgraded “excellence club” room was very nice, but extremely cold at all...
