"Great space for families "

"Lovely little hotel just outside Chester. Beautiful grounds. Staff amazing and food. Spa is not a traditional relaxing spa, it doesnt claim to be!! but is a bonus, lovely. And amazing price "

"It was a lovely hotel in a great location but the smoking area was very poor. It was just a corner in the car park. Nowhere to sit and relax and the ashtray on the wall was broken. Very much like an after thought. A bench would have been lovely there and an easy solution."

"Close to town "

"We upgraded to a canal view room which had a sofa and felt spacious. Breakfast was included and well organised and with everything you needed included. I liked the onsite indoor pool and gym which felt well organised and very clean. The hotel was an easy walk from from the train station and into the centre of Chester. "

"Good stay. Hotel overall was clean and tidy but some of the carpets and paintwork were looking a bit tired. Restaurant food was good and breakfast was excellent "

"Our room itself was very nice, it looked much nicer than we expected, however the bathroom wasn’t spotlessly clean and there was a couple of maintenance jobs that needed doing, the tap was loose and the soap holder was damaged. Nothing that significantly affected our stay but simple jobs that could have been sorted and would have been noticed by housekeeping when cleaning. the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as didn’t feel it was...
