Great place to stay
Great location , less than 10min walk into town. Staff very helpful and friendly . Tea and Coffee available in the room . Rooms are very clean. My only gripe is they don't do breakfast but there are many places in town that do .

This is a great place to stay, we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Bangor to drop our daughter at Uni. It was better than we expected, had everything we needed and the instructions on how to enter the building and our room was great. Excellent communication and lovely place to stay - happy stay here again.

Fantastic boutique accommodation. Perfect location with safe parking facilities. The shower was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable, the staff were so friendly and on hand for any needs. We would certainly recommend this property for your Chester stay!

Beautiful Boutique hotel. Stunningly decorated and they have thought of everything to make this a beautiful place to stay. My only call out would be regarding the parking behind the building. You have to enter through a very narrow alleyway and when i was trying to leave in the morning many other cars from local buildings were parked on the alley meaning i had to squeeze between the cars and brick wall to get out. This is not any fault of the hotel but maybe a heads up that this could be a problem i would have found somewhere else to park.

It’s a nice enough place but more of a townhouse with converted rooms than a hotel, which is kind of a strange vibe, especially if your room is by the front door / reception stand. The room was a good size and nicely furnished but it was quite hot. Which meant I had to sleep with the window open - on the ground floor - and that wasn’t ideal for me as a single person by myself. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfy - but would have been a bit on the small side if I there were two of us. It’s a good location, easy to reach everything within a few minutes walk.

Lovely, clean modern hotel short walking distance to the centre with plenty of food and drink options Free parking which is a bonus, however fairly small car park which is not yet sign posted .. and difficult to get out of if you have a bigger car. TV signal not the best and kept cutting out. One thing we did find off was in the morning we left for breakfast in the centre at 0900am, check out 1030 .. all the cleaning equipment and fresh bedding was already at the room door waiting .. felt like they wanted us out sooner than later. We were also asked if we were going to be back in time for check out when we clarified the time. Again, felt like we were wanted rid of so they could clean the room

We stayed Thursday 5th September 2024 and it was our first time staying at The Seven. On arrival we were impressed with the decor and style of the hotel. It is a converted building in the middle of a terrace and we were pleasantly surprised by what was hiding behind the front door. We had initially booked a double room and on arrival were shown to Room 4. The room was beautiful and well equipped but the bed was a true double bed and a little small to what we are used to, so we asked if would have a king room if one was available. The staff accommodated this without issue even moving our bags whilst we walked into town. We were moved into Room 7 and again it was excellent. We paid the small additional charge for the upgrade on check out. The room was quiet, we both slept well and weren't disturbed at all. We took advantage of the small parking area at the rear of the hotel during our stay which made it very convenient as we could leave the car and forget about it. The hotel is well situated for both the racecourse and the town centre both accessible by a short walk. The staff at the hotel explained that they had only been open two months and as such they were keen to receive feedback on our stay. Next time we are back in Chester I will definitely be looking to stay again.
