"We had booked a package, but upon check-in, they unexpectedly charged us. Later one night, my friends and I were dancing around the hotel when an employee rudely approached us, demanding to see our room key. Although we showed him the key, he insisted that each of us present our own. This upset my friends, but after I provided our room number, he finally backed off. It was a bad experience overall."

"Overall it was a great experience in a newer, more modern upscale all inclusive. Security at the gates were tight and appreciated. The concierge service was phenomenal. Room service was extremely slow and lacked food quality, better to just walk downstairs and get food yourself. Lack of entertainment in the evening. "

"It was a bit tricky getting into the area. So from the cancun airport you will need to take a taxi or bus to the Puerto Juarez. Then u will need to get a ferry to get to the island with is where the resort is at. But other then that everything else was great."

"Property is beautiful and we tried all the restaurants, presentation and food was exceptional. It’s quiet and a 20 minute cab ride into Cancun if you want to explore further. Our room faced the ocean as most of them are Ocean front. The rooms are well appointed and a large shower that opens up to a plunge pool. "Definitely a wonderful place to take family or just you and your spouse. My husband took me there for my birthday and all we can think about is how our grandson would’ve loved the pool and beach. "We enjoyed the stay at this hotel. They had great hospitality, great food atmosphere the beach was clean. The rooms were nice and clean. The views were amazing from the balconies. We will definitely go back to this place and we recommend it to others as well."

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

"After reading some recent negative reviews about the Royalton Riviera Splash Cancun, I was hesitant to book with my girlfriend. But to our surprise, the resort was spotless, the staff was super friendly, and our experience exceeded expectations! Don’t let bad reviews scare you. The pools were awesome, and our room was clean and well-kept. The food was solid—the buffet was always good, and some specialty restaurants were definitely worth checking out. Our favorite was Hunter Steakhouse, with Agave and the Cave also being really good. Just keep expectations reasonable! Shout-out to Alberto, who was a server/bartender by the pool. I asked for a beer, but they were out. Instead, he noticed I had a cocktail the day before and brought it to me without me asking—that’s top-notch customer service! Also, thanks to Felipe, who helped plan our excursions. He didn’t just try to sell us things but actually gave great recommendations. We had an awesome time at Islas Mujeres and snorkeling with green turtles! FYI the beach is not crystal-clear water, which we expected, but it was still beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. One heads-up: get to the pool early (7-8 AM) to grab a good spot as it fills up fast! Overall, we had a great stay, and every worker we encountered was friendly and helpful! "
