"We had a great vacation at the Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar. The hotel grounds is lovely with lots of wildlife including beautiful peacocks. The beach was picturesque and very clean as well as safe although the waves were a bit rough. But it was fun. There were many different options of places to eat and the most of the food was great. "

"The hotel's staff is generally very nice, particularly Charlie and the activities group, however their timeshare pitch wasn't appreciated, was stressful and not worth the 'coupons/discounts' provided. Also, the arrangement the hotel has with taxis is akin to robbery and will only lead to extreme overpayment. It's not the extra $30 for a taxi, but more the principle, understanding Spanish and hearing the conversation between the bellhop and the driver about how much they intend to rip you off. ...

"This property is private and quiet in a nice community. The yard with the canopy of trees is so beautiful. Comfy beds, good A/C, good linens. Huge tv’s. Kitchen pretty much has what you need. Having an oven is a plus. The pool is cool. Which was perfect for the 32 C temps. It is a property worth staying at for sure. Perfect for families. The owner is a lovely man who answered all our questions and was over to help us with anything we needed. "
