"Nov 2024 - This is a very old pub, persevered very well and in keeping with it's original historic 656 year old design. Great food and drink selection and wonderful staff. With that in mind, it is a pub, and therefore very noisy until around 12am later at weekends. As it's old it's also very creaky, so expect to here residents walking to and from the bathroom / toilets. The rooms are what you'd expect in keeping with an old building and a little cold in winter. "The apartment was clean, well appointed, comfortable and in a fantastic location with the address bonus of outside space on its roomy balcony. Only a few minutes walk from a tram stop and very close to the canal district with all of its bars and restaurants. The keys need to be collected from and dropped back off to a shop 5 minutes walk away, so that was no hassle. The owner was very responsive and incredibly helpful with all of my queries and requests. We couldn't have asked for better. "
