Convenient hotel for an overnight stay. The rooms are very small and the amenities are basic, but it's clean, safe and right near the station, all for a good price. The front desk is operated 24 hours with polite, helpful staff. You can request things such as a hairdryer, however they are in high demand and there are not always enough to go around – so you may have to ask again in the morning. The bathroom in our double-bed room was not very private – glass doors with no locks – so bear that in mind depending on who you're sharing a room with. I was with my partner, so it wasn't an issue. We extra paid for a room with a window, but this isn't really necessary considering the hotel isn't particularly tall, so there isn't much to see. Walls are quite thin and you can sometimes hear other guests and sounds from outside. There's a vending machine with snacks and a coffee machine (all drinks £2), but for breakfast I'd recommend Cherry Red's across the road. There are some nice Asian restaurants around for dinner, too. You get what you pay for, and this is an average albeit suitable hotel for the price. Recommended if you're in Birmingham overnight for a concert.

Very close to the city centre, especially New Street. I left my hotel and was on my platform within 5 minutes. If you’re simply looking for basic, functional room, this represent good value. Much better than anything else for this price.

The hotel was worth the money but could hear everything that went on. The telly in the room didn't work in the he mornings for some reason. Staff were friendly and welcoming and room was comfortable for the budget

I stayed there on 19 Dec evening, The receptionist was extremely helpful and provided a 5 star customer service, however the room and bathroom both are small and only 2 build in hungers for cloths which means any sweeter etc which does not have open front can’t be hanged, I had to hange my trousers on the door handler.

Great stay at easy hotel. Reachable and in the city center. So close to the Birmingham New street train station, the station is also like a small mall. Anjali in the reception was so great and helpful.

Great location for Alexandra theatre. Clean. Just a bed, no chair, no drawers, no kettle. I'm 5ft and couldn't reach the blinds on the windows or reach to open the window. Reception was manned all the time and were polite.

Excellent budget hotel. Spotless and very helpful staff. Had to ask for an extra towel, had only been left one for two of us, however was fetched with no issue. Perfect location as we arriv d by train and went to the Alexandra theatre - all within a five min walk.

Extremely convenient for centre of Birmingham and very nice staff Room was very basic, as expected for price. Bed was hard and the pillows were flat.,Unfortunately while the room was clean it had a funny musty smell like it had been damp and not completely dried out.
