"Nice hotel in a countryside setting with beautiful grounds. The accomodation was good (Junior Suite) & spacious, though the room was quite a trek from the bar & restaurant. Conversely, it was close to the Spa. Plenty of car parking including some electric charging bays. The breakfast was buffet style with the usual choices, cooked or continental. The dinners were excellent in both quality & presentation, accompanied by good service. We didn't use the Spa. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

My only gripe is after booking a non-refundable room, the hotel contacted to stay that we would have to pay a further £20 per person should we will to use the pool! I could understand if we wanted to treatments but surely guests should have access to the pool during certain hours if staying at the hotel! "

"The hotel is very convenient for access to Chester and has free parking. A must for Chester. The breakfast was good and plentiful and The leisure facilities are nice however the hotel is in need of an update all round. The pillows and especially the bed need to be renewed. It was kept clean so the service staff do a great job. Staffing isn’t over plentiful and you often have to go looking for them as they are utilised across the whole hotel."

"Well we couldn’t have asked for more, the lady on reception was a delight, the manager too. We had a lovely clean and spacious room with such a comfortable bed. Eating in the bar was a great experience, the food was stunning. The lady serving in the bar could not have been nicer, great recommendations and service. Relaxing pool and sauna. The perfect stay, thank you!"
