Really nice view from the superior rooms. Pleasant and relaxing stay. Couldn’t get in the pool as it was always too busy but the gym was nice and clean and full of decent kit. Would definitely stay again.

Like a time warp. Old, dirty room, original pink bathroom suite. Dirty carpets. Uncomfortable beds and hard lumpy pillows. Unable to use the pool for the evening as there was an exercise class going on (hotel also uses the pool as a local leisure club), this isn’t detailed when booking and also wasn’t informed by hotel staff despite handing us towels to take the the pool. Honestly stay anywhere else, any other local option would be better than this.

Average stay to be honest, hotel was obviously being refurbished so understandable the decor was tired. Dinner was acceptable but the breakfast was terrible, I can usually eat absolutely anything but had to leave it!!

The hotel was comfortable but the decor was "tired". The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment and I'm sure this will bring it back to being "the place to be"

Nice stay and good food
Stayed in 2 rooms. One was updated with lovely bathroom but the other had a very old bathroom and looked worn out. The hotel is getting upgraded and we got both ends of the renovations. It will look great once it is finished. Had a meal in the new restaurant which was lovely.
