"Great experience! Only a minor confusion with Barcelo, no one picked us up at the airport the night we landed despite scheduling through the link the hotel sent me. Nonetheless, Barcelo refunded me for the amount of $200 CAD. It took a while, but they got back to me while I was already back in Canada and I appreciated that they were on top of it through email. "Food and beverage personnel were pleasant and very hard working. Service was slow sometimes due to lack of staff. Poor dining options; the resort does not have a nightly buffet, two dining restaurants share a kitchen slowing things down. Difficult to get restaurant reservations as time share owners get preferential access. Too many fine dining items require a surcharge. All inclusive food choices are mundane. "
