"We had a confusing check in experience at the Hotel. I travelled to London from Leeds with my teen son. When we arrived we were asked for ID for both of us. We were also asked if I had evidence of permission to travel alone with him. We had neither because it wasn't mentioned at any point prior to arriving that these would be needed.
