"Even after studying all the reviews and YouTube videos, Ascott Marunouchi Hotel exceeded our expectations. Front desk staff spoke fluent English! My only suggestion before staying there would be to map walkable dining options (Particularly breakfast) Be realistic. Where are you going to eat? Might want to stop at a grocery store and make use of the full kitchen -even for a short stay. After full days of exhausting sightseeing, the walk from Tokyo Station felt really long. Awesome hotel. "Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "

Walking distance to Shimbashi station and Ginza.The room is somewhat reasonable for Tokyo size. Perhaps more suitable for couple instead of family with kids. We have enjoyable stay in this hotel. "
