The Met is my favourite place to stay while in Ikebukuro. Very reasonably priced, and mere minutes away from the train station. Lots of great restaurants nearby, too.

Have stayed at the Metropolitan quite a few times. It is a very reliably good place to stay. They have a lot of room amenities (I cannot remember them all from our stay last month but I recall being impressed). It is close to the subway lines. There have a lot of staff in the lobby to help visitors. Ikebukuro has a lively vibe and lots of restaurants and department stores.

Location very good. Convenient for everything. Airport bus arrives in front of the hotel, no need to change metro or other buses, cost 3600 Japanese yen. Shopping mall department stores 3 mins away walking from hotel.
