"Have wanted to stay in this hotel for some time after being a fan of Dennis Severs House museum (next door) and this hotel did not disappoint. The staff were lovely and kindly accommodated an early check in after an overnight flight from Canada. The room was perfect for a solo traveller -- comfortable, quiet, mini bar, warm and beautifully decorated. It feels a bit like stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts of home. "The welcome was great and the size and position of the apartment fabulous. The apartment is a little tired and could use a GE real spruce up especially all of the taps and shower. The mattress is quite old I suspect and could use a mattress topper and some new pillows. But in general a really great place and so conveniently located with really nice people who take care of you."

Disappointed

"The room was lovely but could have been cleaner. There was a crisp on the floor. There also was what looked like yogurt had been spilled over the curtains. We were unable to turn out the main light and had to pull the card out to turn off. This meant the when going to the toilet in the night we could not turn the light on without having the lights on and waking everyone up. The lights itself was very dusty and looked like it had not been cleaned for a long time. "

"Stayed for 3 nights on business. First night fire in the hotel but staff should be praised for the organisation in getting everyone out and safe while the fire dealt with. The gym facilities are fantastic and all the staff are friendly and super helpful. "
