"Checkin was great, the staff were accomodating & helpful except for room service or the lack of any food service. I called for room service and was told to call back in 5 mins, so I did & the 2nd call was again I was told to call back. So if you stay here dont expect any efficiency room service cos they won't call back or provide any food"

It was walking distance to the subway and to the St. Lucia Hill. Our room was facing the street and it was noisy but when we closed the window, we did not hear anything. "Had a very comfortable 3-night stay at Tinto with my girlfriend. It's located in Barrio Bellavista, within a a few steps of numerous restaurants and attractions. One thing that is good to know in the current social climate in Santiago is that the hotel is in a safe area, though it is close to the epicenter of protests in Plaza Italia.
