"We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel."

"Liked the Property but I was entertaining 3 Friends early for one night before our weeks Condo. stay, the bathroom tub was so discusting I have a picture, The worse was the phone line did not work and we were cut off from all communication. When a neighbor heard of the problem called from her cell, they then said they were not coming that night Friday, but will be there 9am Sat. am I let them know we were checking out at 11 so do not come at 9am. "This hotel and our room exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful and the location on Potrero Beach is amazing. We enjoyed the proximity to Playa Flamingo and Play Penca for evening swims and a more lively scene if wanted. "
