"Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "

"Great view of sea and sunset and we saw toucans and other birds from the large private patio. We had a large apartment with 2 rooms, spacious. Weird that it’s under the restaurant, but it was quiet and we slept well."

"Residencias Samara is an oasis within the oasis of Samara. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms, Residencias Samara was the perfect homebase for the Samara leg of our honeymoon. We found it to be wonderfully relaxing and well situated within town and close to the beach. We spent a significant portion of our time enjoying the pool when not at the beach or the great restaurants nearby. We would definitely pick Residencias Samara again on a return trip in the future. "

"Excellent place! We were absolutely delighted to find this safe, well-appointed, beautifully-decorated room after a long days’ drive. Self check-in, after hours, was easy, and we found the lovely grounds and pool to be an oasis. We made our own simple dinner and had everything we needed to prepare it. Absolutely loved our stay here, and wish it were longer! We’ll be back! 💖"

"Good: the property is beautiful! The river sounds are soothing. The buildings are nicely designed and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. It seems like it would be a lovely place to hold an event. Challenges: no hot water to the kitchen sink made us concerned for clean dishes. The wiring connections on the point of service heater on the shower head were a little alarming. Screens for the windows, a screen door for the back door would allow for enegy savings, when it...

"We received an excellent service from Edward. Understandably, being so close to the airport, the noise from planes landing and taking off was loud but besides this, the place was perfect. We definitely recommend Edward and familia for short term stays. "
