"It was a good bang-for-the-buck-stay. The rooms were small, felt a bit unkept, and bathroom had a odd odour. However, the restaurant and pool area where guests have free breakfast were all nice and comfortable. The area of Coco is touristy and definitely there is many better places to stay in Costa Rica such as La Fortuna, Monte Verde or Papayago - but if you need to stay in Coco than the Palms is very local to the most populated spots. "

"This is a great beach front hotel for those travelers who don’t want to pay the full price for a beach resort (I.e. the Dirria next door!). But since both Perla and Dirria have the same owner, Perla guests get to eat at the breakfast buffet next door. The buffet has everything (hot items, omelette, waffles, fruit station, pastries etc. highly recommend this hotel!"
