"Great quiet place!"

"RIU Guanacaste was absolutely amazing for our stay! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and restocked daily upon request. The food options we delicious. We were blown away by the buffet options. The sushi at Furama was our favorite. The only thing I didn’t like were all of the vendors trying to sell you things on the beach. They were very disruptive and made it hard to relax. "

"I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night after a flight from the USA. The staff was very helpful with questions asked about transportation and exchanged some larger colones into smaller bills for me. The breakfast buffet was very good although pricier than I realized. Room was clean and comfortable."

"Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. Buffett breakfast included, sushi, pizza and restaurant on site, we ordered room service multiple times and received it quick. Spa by the river and multiple natural hot springs on the property, they added some in an adult only zone, all are surrounded and under the lush vegetation on the property and a perfect escape. We also booked RT transportation to/from hotel and 2 tours through them. Arenal Manoa staff know how to make you feel special and cater to your needs. It was a most memorable vacation and we will return! "

"Highly recommend this place especially for anyone who is celiac and especially for kids who are celiac. Staff were super friendly & helpful, excellent food, lots of activities on the go, fun water slides only a 5 min walk from the resort. My daughter is 9 and is celiac. When checking in I told them about her "gluten allergy", they immediately gave us a paper where any allergies are documented and our room number and told us to take it to any restaurant we ate at. She's super picky with food, we can't say enough good things about David & Monica, they're staff managers & dressed in black. They asked her what she wanted and would go and talk to the chef or the chef would come out. She had chicken nuggets, fries, pancakes, hashbrowns, sushi (loves avocado/cucumber rolls), bacon, chips & guac...lots of fruit, veggies, salads & various deserts. They could have made her more food like chicken, fish dishes etc. but she's picky. When I asked them if they had muffins, they brought out sealed little lemon muffins (so yummy!) & little sealed packages of mini gf bread. She was so happy to have food she could eat! It takes a little longer obviously so give yourself some extra time to wait for the food. They also told us if she didn't like anything at the other restaurants that she could have food from the buffet and bring it over to the other places we wanted to eat at. We did the zipline, animal sanctuary & snorkeling tour (Planet Dolphin tours) We love this resort & will be back!"

"Very close to the airport and provides a comfortable stay before or after a flight. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast is included and delicious. Would stay there again to be near airport. "
