Vanderbilt YMCA - Hostel

2.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (996)
"Lovely staff from check-in to security to passing cleaners in the hall. All so lovely. Room and shared bathrooms where clean and I had no issues being disrupted by other guests. I did have the issue of VERY loud banging pipes which I was aware of thanks to other reviews so was prepared for but couldnt have handled more than the single night I stayed. I would stay here again as single nights but not longer as its hard to get quality sleep. "

Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (1645)
"I was not as impressed with the first room I was offered. Room 3236. It was dirty and dusty. Stains on the curtains and sofa and one on the bed. Furniture was outdated and really beat up. I asked front desk for a different room shortly after and got room 4037. The room was up to Hilton standards! I was impressed with the cleanliness and spectacular view of the city. This is what I paid for and expected from Hilton. I appreciated the staff and location and the amenities. I will gladly stay here...
