"What we loved about staying here - the location (right by the Trolley on St. Charles), walkable to many restaurants, great Jazz bar and restaurant, great rooftop patio and old world charm with a twist of hipster. The shower pressure was amazing! Staff were really helpful and nice. What we did not love - the rooftop bar turns into a college hangout after 8pm, the rooms are a bit dim and outdated because it's an old building. I requested a city view but on the third floor our windows were treated...

"The shuttle information is terrible. Got up to wait in a long line only to find out that people paid ahead of time for the shuttle, which was free. Nobody told us we could pay a fee to get on the shuttle list early. Luckily we were able to get a spot. This information should’ve been told to everyone not just a select a few."

"It’s so amazing and the valet parking was even better for me and my family. It just take forever for the refund to get back on my card because I know for a fact everything was perfect as the way we came that’s how we left it!!!!!!"

"Great location! The Hotel was very well maintained and managed. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Bar service was excellent as was the members lounge. Definitely would stay again. "

"This is our 2nd stay. Stayed a week back in August 2000!! Rooms are clean and well lit. The only downside is that it is an older property, so the walls are thin. Right next door is U Pizza. They have the best burgers!! There’s also a streetcar stop across the street and it’s about a 10 min ride to Canal and Bourbon Sts. Also within walking distance of the former house of Anne Rice, Lafayette Cemetery and the Garden District Bookstore. "
