Upon checkin, the staff was great for the most part. I had issues with WIFI with no resolve. Went to the business center and still wasn’t able to get help and the area was very noisy at 7am . I also couldn’t connect to the WiFi from there either. The leather on the desk chair in my room was torn apart and not appealing given the hotel reputation.

for the price I paid this hotel was not great at all. The room was mostly clean but the toilet was broken, there were no instructions on how to use the TV and the meals/drinks services down in the lobby were very sparse and not worth it. There were huge lines to check in and ask questions at the front desk. The staff were very helpful to fix my issues at least.

My wife and I love the Intercontinental. When ever we stay in New Orleans we try and book the intercontinental. The location is convenient to walk to most of the local attractions but the hotel is beautiful and the staff is very nice.

Everything was great and the staff were great until the day of check out. I was in my room fortunately with the door locked and latched and the do not disturb sign on the door. A woman keyed into my room accompanied by another man. The door latch was the only thing that stopped them from entering. When I contacted the hotel manager about the situation it was brushed off. I contacted IHG regarding this, but was informed every IHG has their own management who deal with property as they choose. Very scary and disappointing end to an otherwise great stay. Be careful.
