The hotel appeared clean however my daughter found bedbugs in her bed when she woke up. The bedbugs had bitten her and my granddaughter’s arms and legs. When we reported it to the staff they informed us to report it to Expedia for a refund. I reserved two rooms but only had problems with one.

Property was conveniently located across from the convention center and within walking distance of the riverfront, shops and great restaurants. The lobby area was beautifully decorated; the interior and decor were definitely fitting with its location in the French Quarter. Hotel staff took very long to attend to guests; they were either taking calls on the phone or in the back. I waited more than 15 minutes for a staff member to get off the phone. During that time other guests came and left. If you walked up, sometimes staff members were in the back-there was no bell etc. to get their attention. You would have to end up going to the side to try to call someone. Elevators had garbage, bits of food and did not seem to be swept properly. It stayed like this for several hours before it was cleaned. Also, touch points such as the elevator buttons were not clean. This was consistent throughout the hotel.
