The hotel is nice upon entry but the rooms are nothing special at all for the price. The shower was not hot and had minimal water pressure, the bed was not comfortable and just was not worth the price. The valet situation is terrible. Do not use valet if you have to be somewhere at a certain time! We waited over an hour for our car and almost missed check in time for our cruise. The other parking is 3 blocks away and cost almost as much so we thought valet was a good option and it was a mess!

Y’ALL HAVE NOTHING BUT AUDACITY AND A SCAM TO OFFER! How is it that I book a room on a “deal”, only to get smacked with an outrageous parking fee? And for what? A room that’s the size of a shoebox and smells like a musty closet dipped in menthol? The place is outdated, with stucco walls straight out of the '80s, and the bed? Oh, it’s like sleeping on a cinder block! I woke up with back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain that ruined my ENTIRE DAY. And let’s talk about amenities—or lack thereof! The ice machine on our floor didn’t work, so we had to wander to another floor like fools. The entire building reeks of marijuana from the moment you step out of your car. And the SHOWER? Don’t even get me started. It leaves some nasty, slimy film on your skin that smells like raw SEWER WATER. ZERO. STARS. This place makes a Super 8 in Detroit look like a five-star resort. Just gross. Then, to make this dumpster fire even worse, I get charged $xx for "incidentals" AFTER paying $xxx a night (with parking). That’s $xxx total! And guess what? It’s been a WEEK, and I still haven’t gotten my deposit back. How unprofessional and downright shady is that? And the valet situation? A complete joke. Saturday morning, we had to wait 45 MINUTES in the street just to get our car. This place isn’t just a ripoff—it’s an embarrassment. Tear the whole thing down and start over. It’s not worth a single penny of anyone’s money.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews but I believe that this property needs a review. We arrived at check in time and the front desk staff werent very friendly not just to us but to everyone else. After check in we went to our room which was freezing so we turned it up later that night I asked for more blankets and we waited 45 minutes and they never came so my husband called back and he waited another 30 minutes for the blankets to never show. The next morning they had construction starting at 8am which we were not informed about. That night we went back down for blankets and they told us they were out of them the hotel was more than half empty. So we still got no blankets the shower water never got hot and the construction started every morning before 8. I don’t think I could recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk staff were excellent at this location. I think they are doing the best with the conditions they work in. The housekeeping staff really needs to tighten up. They need to clean the carpets and wash the walls, keep the guest bathrooms up to par with deep cleaning.
