"Casa Frida is a quick walk from the ferry terminal, and easy to find. The suite is basic, but very clean. The hot water in the shower works well, and the bed was comfortable. In terms of location, it is a few blocks from the downtown area, so lots of restaurants and shops within quick walking distance, but you are not staying right in the noisy area. "The apartment was lovely and staff were very friendly. Due to transportation, we arrived an hour before checkin, and they allowed us to use all the facilities including the pool until our room was available. Excellent communication throughout our stay. "

"The property is FAR from town (a 20 minute walk by beach), which is deceiving when you view the map. There is very little food, no stores nearby, no restaurant at motel. There are zero mosquito killing or repelling devices, despite the fact this place is infested with them (and they are aggressive as hell - biting you despite layers of repellent and attacking your face).
