"Clearly this hotel is still in recovery from Lockdown. There are no kitchen facilities and limited options available locally. Bar was not staffed and no background music or TV to attract or encourage its use. Garden areas were overgrown and not in use. Has the potential to be a nice stopover but the website does not reflect the current conditions."

"This is a well-placed B&B for the centre of Huddersfield. Everyone is extremely nice and the facilities are good if not bang up-to-date. the breakfast is excellent, parking very convenient and it's a nice touch to be able to bring 'takeaway' food into the hotel's conservatory to eat. We will certainly come back"

"Nice place for a short stay. Staff were great. My Sisters check in took along time, well past 3pm. Still not checked in by tea time. Only down side was no electrical power points nxt to bed. I had to run extension cables which could of caused an accident getting up in the middle of the night."

"OK, so we quickly realised this place is being used for socially housing homeless/asylum/those in need. Receptionist who greeted us, young lad, very pleasant and polite and helpful. Breakfast which we paid for on the day was varied and just alright. Menu needs updated as we were almost charged the new increased price until we pointed out the cost in print.I didn't appreciate the chefs/staff goin out on the balcony, with the big sign "no smoking area", to indeed, have a smoke.
