The Old Golf House, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

3.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (371)
"Clearly this hotel is still in recovery from Lockdown. There are no kitchen facilities and limited options available locally. Bar was not staffed and no background music or TV to attract or encourage its use. Garden areas were overgrown and not in use. Has the potential to be a nice stopover but the website does not reflect the current conditions."

"This is a well-placed B&B for the centre of Huddersfield. Everyone is extremely nice and the facilities are good if not bang up-to-date. the breakfast is excellent, parking very convenient and it's a nice touch to be able to bring 'takeaway' food into the hotel's conservatory to eat. We will certainly come back"

OYO The Croppers Arms

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (19)
"The pub was very friendly and welcoming. Pub food was good with friendly service. Good beer & nice wine. Ruby was very accomodating. Room awkward to get to (certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues) being on the 1st floor but up some really awkward turning stairs. The room looked as though it had recently been refurbished. It was clean, warm & inviting with tea & coffee making facilities. Bed was quite comfortable with a very warm duvet. The bathroom was compact & relatively...

A Place In The Pennines

2.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"The Redbrook lodge was beautiful. Ample parking at the property and easy to get to. Everything supplied that you would need for an overnight stay. The bathroom door was a bit tempramental as it is on a runner but i assume it just needed fitting back onto the runner so not really a criticism. The outdoor lights were not working but the warden was quick to come and attempt to fix them, but was unsuccessful. I would still stay again."
