"Overall was better than expected although the window of n my room was small, high up & made the room cell like. The toiletries were good quality, the room looked nice & breakfast was nice reasonable although they had no vegetarian sausages. Although the rooms decor was good overall there were 2 things that let it down, firstly there was nowhere to hang anything as the wardrobe had no hangers and there was no hook behind the door for a coat, secondly & more importantly the bed was terrible...

Apart from small stain on the bed sheet, a little bit of broken plaster around the window .The Window was dirty. And the heating dident come on so was a little bit cold in the night. "

"The Redbrook lodge was beautiful. Ample parking at the property and easy to get to. Everything supplied that you would need for an overnight stay. The bathroom door was a bit tempramental as it is on a runner but i assume it just needed fitting back onto the runner so not really a criticism. The outdoor lights were not working but the warden was quick to come and attempt to fix them, but was unsuccessful. I would still stay again."

"Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. "The rooms with the balcony are fantastic. We had to ask for an extra robe as the staff say you only get one per room which is strange to me with a pool etc. The only disappointing thing we have found while staying in the hotel over the last two weeks, is the temperature of the hot tub and the indoor pool. Both are cold and the chemical mix in the hot tub is not correct. We are staying again next month and we are hoping they will both be warmer or we will have to find alternative accommodation."
