Our second stay here at the Velvet Hotel just as good as the first. Attentive staff lovely clean room everything you need for a comfy stay. We had the continental breakfast delivered to our room this time . Handed to us on a lovely tray on time pastries granola fruit and breakfast bar with an orange juice was just what we needed. See you again same time next year for our annual visit to the Palace.

Guys I choosed this place as this was VIP access hotel, but sorry to say this was my terrible stay ever I had , confirmation received from the hotel about parking cost is £16 but paid £30.95 for 24 hours Receptionist refused to upgrade the room , she was very rude, got soup spoon and side quarter plate instead of dinner plate and table spoon, 2 homeless were sitting front of my room and were making noise , Terrible stay ever , stay away guys , waste of money, plz remove from VIP list

Our stay at The Velvet Hotel was lovely from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Check in was really quick and efficient and being given a glass of Rosé Prosecco to drink while we were checking in was a really nice touch. Our room was lovely. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and really comfortable. My only observation would be that because we were on a low floor the noise from Canal Street below was quite noticeable when we got back to our room after being out for the night. This wasn’t an issue for us, but light sleepers may want to ask for a higher floor or bring ear plugs with them.
