"The AC.on the window, The all night Heater or AC makes noise, And if you stop that , then you’ll smell the smoke smell , really bad , also the Shore head , took us a while to know how to operate, next time will take my own . And will change the shore head . "

"We were slightly concerned about the outside safety based on other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. No homeless anywhere around the property. Streets felt very safe and clean. Room was better than expected. Beds were clean and comfy. Bathroom was a little dated but it’s a budget motel. Fridge and microwave in room! Overall would stay again."

"Really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. The history behind it is very fascinating and the decorations went along with that. The front staff Carrie was so super friendly if we are ever in Placerville, we would stay here again."

"The rooms are standard, staff was nice and helpful, the lobby is a great gathering spot for large groups. Location is great, right in downtown. The only down sides are that our room faces the train tracks, some noice from trains. Also only one elevator and quite slow. Overall a good stay. "
