"The hotel is beautiful and historic - rooms are a little small, but it’s a gorgeous hotel with great service. I stayed there 14 years ago, and the area around the hotel has declined significantly since then. There are dozens of homeless people around the hotel constantly, and the local shops on the street are vandalized and in poor shape. The City would do well to solve their homelessness issue an bring the local tenants back…"

"A serene setting close to downtown Sacramento. Loved the design and location on the riverfront. The Heavenly Sleep beds were incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! I look forward to returning."

"The hotel is wonderful. Nicely kept and good service. They have valet for easy parking if you are staying for more than one night. Around the hotel isn’t quite as clean but that happens in cities."
