"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"It’s an old river boat so expectations should be set accordingly - the rooms are small and on the older side but we loved the quirks like the vintage toilet with the tank up top and old shower piping. It’s a fun place to stay. We stayed on the river side and I was initially worried about the sea lions being too loud at night but they quieted down and weren’t a problem. The restaurant was also great! "

"In my opinion Embassy has a great complimentary breakfast better than other brands. Love the evening reception and staff was friendly and great. For me the beds where ok but the pillows need help. Otherwise, I would stay here again its walking distance to the Capitol, Golden One stadium and Old Sacramento."

"Close to Amtrak Station. Really good food and open for meals when you get in late. They have a nice bar with nice bartenders, and a restaurant for a really good breakfast. Very impressive large lobby. "
