"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. "The Ohio House Motel was ideal for our small business trip. Its central location allows easy access to attractions, restaurants, and markets within 15–20 minutes. Parking is reasonably priced, with in-and-out privileges—a rarity in Chicago. The recently renovated facility was clean and well-maintained. However, the double beds are quite small, comfortable for one person but cramped for two."
