"Pros: Great location! Close to everything… very convenience for tourist exploring Kyoto. Cons: I book a room for 4 people and realistic we only got a room with 2 twin beds, ideally for only 2 people. Very hot at night, property doesn’t have AC and upon request you can get a fan delivered to your room."

"Very comfort and cosy place with great service. We stayed there with friend's couple plenty space for all of us. This whole Japanese style house experience gave us such a delight, pleasant time. Wish we could have stayed longer. The location is also very good close to Gion area and within walking distance to Nishiki market and stations. Looking forward to staying again soon:)"

"*English below 祇園のど真ん中で場所は非常に良かったです。寝室も広く、町屋の作りも面白い要素です。しかし、掃除がかけており、寝室に前の人の靴下が見つかりました。コーヒーメーカーはありがたいですが、コーヒーの用意もなく、管理者に連絡する必要がありました。キッチングッズでは皿を洗うスポンジも置いてなく、管理者にまたお願いする必要がありました。清掃業社と消耗品の確認、しっかりしていただきたい点です。予約の際も決済後にどのように部屋をアクセスできるかなど、案内が遅れましたので、初期段階の対応も改善できる点です。 Great location and traditional house with spacious interior. Cleaning and house amenities could be improved, together with the check-in process after booking. Needs more attention by the house manager but great potential. "

"We recommend this property. It is modern and fun. This is right where you want to be to enjoy Kyoto. You have to accept the rooms are a.bit tight size wise however it was fun to be close together. They had a full bar but no food availability there however just steps outside the door were a dozen choices. There was a Buffett breakfast but we did not chose that option. We left feeling we would return and recommend."

"Best place to do and experience a ryokan. Service was so good and attentive when it came to our tea and our traditional Japanese breakfast she walked us on how to eat everything. It was amazing "
