The staff was amazing, patient, and extremely helpful especially when I needed to send my luggage to an AirBnB in Tokyo instead of lugging it around with me in public transportation. "Amazing. I will be back. Literally a 5 star experience walking distance to the most beautiful area in Kyoto. Very easy to access anything you want; food, shopping, shrines, metro and trains. The staff couldn’t be more kind always arranging taxis or giving suggestions of where to go and eat etc.. I was sad to leave this hotel. That doesn’t happen very often in traveling. I will be back here one day soon. ❤️"

"The property is in great location in Gion which is walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. It’s not too far (15-20 min walk) from the Nishiki market. There is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel and the closest train station is about a 12 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and having a sauna in the room was very nice. There is free laundry machines by the lobby, however plan accordingly because the dryer takes 3-4 hours to dry a load. Overall, we had a great stay and I would stay...

"Good location although hard to find at first as the entrance is a doorway on a main road. Steps up were difficult with our suitcases. Lovely inside and very attentive staff. "Perfect location in Gion, easy walking distance to convenient bus stops and subway stops, as well as many restaurants/shops. The Shirakawa river was so relaxing to watch. From our room, we could see cranes, turtles and large fish! Excellent decor with art and beautiful lighting, incredibly spacious (3 stories, all with full bath) with nice amenities (coffee/tea, pajamas/robe, umbrellas, laundry!, rooftop deck) and all rooms/floors had separate lockable entry code. I had only minor quibbles...
