"Room was nice and clean but the street light was too bright to sleep at night. The sound from outside was quite loud at night. Stayed 2 nights, towels and tea was replaced but used tea cups were not. Maybe we supposed to wash ourselves? Not a big deal, overall we were happy with our stay😊"

"This is the second time I have stayed here visiting family. Overall nice property but there was an issue with guests from Mainland China. They were loud, drunk, rude, and made thenstay less enjoyable. This hotel should review it's travel partners and better vet the groups coming in. The area is good but too many Gaijin tourists who are ruining Kyoto with there boorish behavior. I feel sorry for the locals."

"It was the first time I stayed in a Ryokan. The etiquette and professionalism of the staff was above expectations. The Kaiseki dinner was good as any fine-dining experience I've had.
