The pool deck on the top of the building off, spectacular views, as too many of the rooms above level four. An excellent breakfast is included in the stay, which is a rarity these days and very appreciated. An all around wonderful place to stay at the southern terminus of Mazatlan’s beach front."

"this is an older property but has been kept clean and well. service was excellent but their restaurant was pricey. We didn't have an impression of pushy sales people for the timeshare thing. In fact they never even bothered to ask us but noticed the first day that it was a time share. We love the cave pool and felt like we didn't have to go outside of the hotel. I was impressed the female trainer for the hawk would come out to the pool area for the families to experience! Should be called El Cid...

"A quiet oasis south of Mazatlan. No children. Because it's a golf and country club, most people are middle-aged or older, which means quiet, respectful, perfect. The food is unbelievably amazing. The service was excellent. The view unparalleled in Mazatlan and area. Nothing like listening to waves and watching the ocean first thing in the morning out your hotel room window. The combination of sand and Greenery makes for an incredible experience. No concrete jungle here. Treat yourself, visit...
