"Romantic, quiet couples getaway. The service and food is very good and the people make you feel very welcome. The property needs some repairs. Last years the property was beautiful and well kept. This year rain a lot and you can see the water marks and ceilings leaking a little even on the lobby bar. "

"The staff here is amazing! The friendliness displayed by every member of the staff was thoroughly impressive. In general, you don’t have to lift a finger in order to enjoy your stay at this facility. The food is great. The cleanliness is outstanding. If you have an event such as a wedding, anniversary, or birthday, they go above and beyond to make it super special. I told them at check-in that I have some mild food allergies and every restaurant knew about it ahead of time and were extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Excellence Playa Mujeres. You’ll love it!"

"We liked the resort very much, the suite was wonderful, the landscape and grounds were beautiful, pools were great, food was very good and the staff was very courteous, attentive and helpful. The beach is a little rocky and there was seaweed, but from what I hear, that is happening in most of the Cancun area."
