" This was our first stay with SLS Playa Mujeres and it was exceptional! The staff, food and room were the best we’ve seen in the Cancun area. We have previously stayed at TRS, Majestic, Catalonia, Le Blanc, and Paradisus- and SLS definitely had the best food overall. We really enjoyed the elite benefits. From check in to check out, our stay went nearly seamlessly. Santiago at the elite check in area was so kind and personable. Vincente brought us our bags and took the time to show us our room and all the perks that came with the elite king rooftop room! The only hiccup we experienced was a dinner reservation that was made, and the restaurant ended up being closed. We were not notified of the closure and didn’t end up getting to do the hibachi experience. The staff was accommodating and was able to book us elsewhere. When it comes to the food, I honestly cannot understand any negative reviews. The food is exceptional. The steak house in particular had amazing cuts of meat that we have not been able to experience at other resorts. the menu at twiggy was fresh and delicious. Our server Oswardo at twiggy even remembered our drink orders days later. The service at the restaurants was fast and efficient, even during dinner time. Room service was also prompt- arriving at the exact estimated time. The Mexican restaurant felt like its own tailored experience. Our server, Oscar was so knowledgeable about all the food and ingredients and really made it an enjoyable experience. Mario a"

"Garza Blanca is a beautiful hotel that’s not too big but perfect in size. Great pools but Beach has a huge rock formation, All along the length of the beach. So bring water shoes!! Water not as clear as the Hotel Zone in Cancùn. Food was great , didn’t feel like a typical all inclusive at all. There was no request that was too big , staff was so accommodating and gracious. My only request is that the hotel make a better effort towards a teens room — games, more pool tables etc. A place they can hang out after dinner etc. Other than that hotel area is quiet and a great hotel if your looking for a bit of a higher end resort. "
