"The faculty is updated and clean. It's an easy, beautiful walk across the bridge of lions to the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Room was updated and very clean except the windows which were quite dirty. The setting sun shining through them amplified just how dirty they were. Fan on AC/ heating unit had only one speed, not three as indicated on the controls. Bed was comfy. Bathroom is tight but has a very large shower. Some bath linens were dingy and worn but clean. Overall a nice place...

"Felt safe in the environment and it was conveniently located for visiting the Everglades. Room was tidy and bed was clean and comfortable. While the floors were free of debris, they weren't clean as my bare feet could attest after walking on them. Also, toilet ran some and we had to adjust the chain a few times. But, overall, for the money we spent, it was a decent place to hang your hat after a couple of long days touring the Everglades. "

"The gal at the check in desk was a ray of sunshine. Great welcome to this property. She also gave a nice dinner recommendation. The room was large, clean, and newly renovated. We both found the bed to be very hard, but we know that’s personal preference. The pool and grounds were nice and we appreciated being able to hang out on the dock to see the sunset over the water. "Staff was great. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices. Good location with dining near by. Very clean but house keeping did miss cleaning one trash bin and some trash on the floor in the bathroom under the sink. USB charger by the bed was dead. We had a very nice stay."
